Watching the news, one might think the world is coming to an end. Watching the blue sea from a seaside cafe, your yacht safely anchored in the bay, you may think nothing have changed. So, which is it?
Greece is of course in deep financial trouble, and at this time, people in Athens, Thessaloniki and other major cities are standing in line in front of the ATMs. Out on the islands, things are much as they usually are. And of course, the tourism and yacht charter business continues as before, with tourists and their business more welcome than ever. However, do bring more cash in euros than you normally would.
